Christmas wooden boxes are becoming a tradition on Christmas Eve. Originally started in Germany, they are now popular to give to children filled with a Christmas movie, book, decoration, pyjamas for Christmas Eve, decorations for the tree and even a special note they can leave for Santa.

After Christmas we like to keep all my daughter's decorations inside for the next year.
